Saturday notes… CUBS vs. SOX: The Cubs now are 78-75 in all games against the Sox, including 13-2 in the last four seasons. But they are only 22-33 in the first games of series. They have won the last four openers and six of seven; before that, they were just 16-32! The Cubs are 28-27 in second games, including 13-14 on the road.
