The Sufjan Stevens dance musical ‘Illinoise’ will return to Chicago Shakespeare in 2027

Director-choreographer Justin Peck will return to stage the Tony-winning show. Highlights of Chicago Shakespeare’s 40th season also include a rock-and-roll take on “Romeo and Juliet” set to the music of Pat Benatar.
