Liberty practice facility makes progress toward 2027 opening

The New York Liberty is still practicing at the small gym just off the main entrance of Barclays Center, between what used to be the ticket lobby and what used to be the Qatar Airways Club. Both are under construction as part of the third year of the arena’s five-year, $140 million renovation. As Madeline Kenney of the Post reports Wednesday, it’s put a bit of crimp on Liberty practices. Jonquel Jones took a seat in a stairwell shortly after the Liberty wrapped up practice April 24. It was tigh
