Chase Meidroth drew a bases-loaded walk against Trevor McDonald in the 4th inning to score Sam Antonacci and put the White Sox on the board, 1-0. Andrew Benintendi doubled to left-center to score Colson Montgomery and Munetaka Murakami, extending the lead to 3-0. Murakami doubled to deep left to score Antonacci, Derek Hill and Edgar Quero, pushing the lead to 8-0. Miguel Vargas reached on an infield single and Murakami scored on a throwing error by shortstop Willy Adames to cap the 9-run 4th inning. Davis Martin tossed 5.2 IP with 6 hits, 4 runs and 7 strikeouts. Tyler Davis, Brandon Eisert and Trevor Richards all came in for relief.
