He surely wants to start and will seek a contract that reflects a starting left tackle's pay, not a cheap veteran minimum deal. The Cowboys will likely want to wait and see how Cowboys training camp plays out with their current options before making a move on Decker. He is high on the list of potential free agents if issues arise at left tackle, but a signing right now seems unlikely from both parties' perspectives. The biggest issue with Adams' proposal is the reality that Terence Steele isn’t going anywhere as the right tackle, especially after taking a pay cut that guaranteed him more money, making his cap hit less than $9 million this year.
